The implementing organization is responsible for end-to-end execution, including recruiting and coordinating active alumni participation in collaboration with the Embassy, ensuring events are inclusive and safe, and handling all logistics. That means planning and paying attention to practical details such as advertising and outreach, registration systems, security and health and safety measures, accessible venues, and accommodations like sign language interpretation or other supports needed for inclusive participation. It also includes arranging venues, transport and lodging if necessary, audiovisual and IT support, catering, and any other operational requirements for smooth delivery across multiple sites.
Visibility and outreach are a major part of the project. In coordination with the U.S. Embassy Nairobi, the grantee is expected to secure media and press coverage and run robust social media promotion and documentation.
